# Coverage

> Where Kviria answers, and what an answer of none means inside and outside that area.

Kviria is in beta and covers the contiguous United States: latitude 24.4
to 49.5, longitude -125.0 to -66.8. More areas are planned.

## Outside coverage

A position outside those bounds gets `none` with an `out_of_coverage`
evidence entry. This is the real answer for a position in London:

```json theme={null}
{
  "decision": "none",
  "evidence": [
    { "test": "pin_coverage", "result": "reject", "reasonCode": "out_of_coverage", "detail": { "lat": 51.5074, "lng": -0.1278 } }
  ],
  "state": "AQFAScDye7L-xb_AW8AaNuLrAAAZb9O1f9KT9206gEeweEpu"
}
```

The turn is never charged. It counts toward the free turns, like any other
turn of an account without a balance. Tell the user the place is outside current coverage. Do not try
other positions.

## Inside coverage

Inside coverage, `none` means Kviria looked and found nothing that
matches. It never offers an invented place instead. When the user asked for
a kind of place, `category` names it.

Say so to the user, and ask for a nearby business, a landmark or a street
address instead. Do not try other house numbers: on a street whose doors
are not in the data, every number answers `none`.

## Why the data varies

Kviria's places and addresses come from open map data. How complete it is
varies from area to area:

* Some streets have no house numbers in the data, so an address on them
  answers `none`.
* A business that opened recently may be missing, and one that closed may
  still be listed.
* A place's recorded position can sit some meters away from its entrance.

To see how an area answers before you rely on it, try it in the
